How do I add a to-do by voice?
Say "Hey Siri, add a to-do to Dew Crew," or name a list directly: "Add milk to my Shopping list in Dew Crew." You can also tap the microphone icon inside the app when adding an item.
Why did my voice-added item land in Inbox instead of the list I named?
Siri's voice recognition doesn't always match a list name perfectly. Anything Dew Crew can't confidently match to one of your lists goes to Inbox so it's never lost. Swipe the item left in Inbox and tap Move to re-file it — one tap, and it's where it belongs.
How do I hear my lists read back?
Ask Siri "Read my [list name] in Dew Crew" or "Read everything in Dew Crew." If Siri shows the reply as text but stays silent, check Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri → Spoken Responses and set it to "Prefer Spoken Responses."
Does Dew Crew work with CarPlay?
Yes — voice capture and read-back go through Siri, so they work anywhere Siri works, including while your phone is connected to CarPlay. There's no separate CarPlay app to install.
Is my data backed up and synced across my devices?
Yes, automatically, through your iCloud account. Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account and have iCloud sync enabled for Dew Crew on each device.
Can I mark an item as done or delete it by voice?
Not yet — voice is currently for adding and reading back to-dos. Marking items complete, deleting, and moving them between lists are quick manual actions in the app.
Do I need an account to use Dew Crew?
No sign-up, no login. Everything works right away, and syncing uses the iCloud account already on your device. See our Privacy Policy for the full details on what that does and doesn't involve.
